STEP Questions and Solutions Database
The databases are two searchable tables, one for STEP 2 and one for STEP 3, categorising each STEP Question from years 1998 to 2020. In each row, there is a pdf of the STEP Question, an extract from the official mark scheme (where available) and the examiner’s comment for that STEP Question (where available).
The table also classifies which new spec paper the STEP Question could be asked on, thus allowing you to still use the old spec STEP Questions for practice.
Each STEP Question is also categorised based off of the topics outlined in the STEP Specification 2021.
The arrows on the headers sort the entire table, either numerically or alphabetically depending on the column content, and you can use the search bar to find specific years/topics/questions rather than having to scroll through the whole table.
Note: ‘STEP -‘ in the new spec paper column indicates that all or parts of the question involve mathematics which is not examinable for the current STEP specification.
