Nicole's interview preparation sessions were incredibly useful. She always chose the perfect difficulty … More of questions to ensure that I was always being challenged, but also gave small hints when needed, which meant that every question played out as if it was being asked in an actual interview. This meant that by the time I had my actual interviews, I was already very comfortable with being presented with scary looking questions and confident when explaining my thought process to my interviewers.Outside of the sessions, Nicole was always happy to answer any questions which I had which I found really helpful and she was even kind enough to check over a paper which I had done in my own time which I was incredibly grateful for as I thought I was being too lenient with my marking.All in all, Nicole is a brilliant maths tutor whose enjoyment of tutoring is unmistakable, and I cannot recommend her enough!

I feel this was because she had a good intuition for picking up on a student’s weaknesses. Nicole would dedicate her entire focus and energy during that session towards careful observation of my work as it progressed, and gently provide advice, alternative methods and corrections whenever necessary. The system she has devised using a whiteboard app works very well as it mimics having 1-1 tuition in person.
