Hi! My name is Nicole Taylor, and I am the creator of NextStepMaths.com. I am a Mathematics graduate from the University of Cambridge and a dedicated A Level Maths and Further Maths tutor with over six years of professional experience.
Since 2019, I have had the privilege of helping hundreds of students from the UK and around the world achieve exceptional results in their A Level Maths and Further Maths exams. My personalised and results-driven approach focuses on building a strong foundation in mathematical concepts, refining problem-solving skills, and mastering the techniques needed to secure top grades.

Achieving top grades in A Level Maths and Further Maths requires effective preparation, structured practice, and the right guidance. As an experienced A Level Maths tutor, I can help you improve your understanding of key concepts, fill gaps in your mathematical knowledge, guide your independent study outside of lessons, and structure your revision to help you secure A/A* grades.

I achieved 283/300 (A*) in my A Level Maths exams and 288/300 (A*) in A Level Further Maths, so I know what it takes to excel. More importantly, I know how to support you in reaching the same level of success. My approach is designed to help you master the material, develop strong problem-solving skills, and apply mathematical techniques effectively in a wide range of contexts.

During our sessions, we will work through a variety of practice exercises and exam-style questions, ranging from foundational problems to challenging scenarios. This approach not only builds your confidence but also hones your exam technique. Success in A Level Maths and Further Maths isn’t just about understanding the material—it’s about applying it clearly and accurately, ensuring your answers align with the mark scheme.
Interactive and Engaging Online Lessons
All sessions are conducted over Zoom, using an interactive whiteboard that allows real-time collaboration. This creates an authentic, engaging experience similar to in-person tuition. After each session, I’ll assign tailored homework to reinforce your learning. Often, it’s the work you do outside of lessons that has the greatest impact on your success.
Ongoing Support
My support doesn’t stop at the end of the session. I’m available via WhatsApp or email to answer any questions you have between lessons, ensuring you feel fully supported throughout your A Level Maths and/or Further Maths journey.
